A thing of beauty -- it lifts my spirits just to post this

So many people, in asking about our health and safety, asked also for pictures of Adelaide. I decided today that in the midst of our innundation by photographs and images of desperation, destruction, and depression, I would take a moment to relive the absolute beauty and miracle that we should still be reveling in. It is easy to get overwhelmed here...Adeliade was born on Friday, August 19, ten days early. My due date was August 29 -- the day Katrina came ashore. Thank God for her early delivery.
