An article about Ben's refinery (Marathon Oil in Garyville, LA)

This link is to a story about how Ben's refinery expects to be running "normally" by Monday:

He's working split shifts right now. He's got the 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. shift, which is good becayse we get to see him during the day but we're not alone overnight. (I told him today that I'd like these hours all the time.) There's still no phone or internet there, but their radios work, so it's not a problem on-site. He said another big issue they're dealing with is that many of their vendors were in the NOLA area, so they're having to find and work with all new people at this really critical time. They still have not accounted for theit IH Tech, Casey Bernaird, who is our age, recently married and just bought a house on the "north shore" area, we think in St. Tammany parish (Ben and I aren't sure about the parish, though). We are all becoming concerned but still hope this is just a communications issue.

I have quit watching the news, and I am feeling better. I check the online version of the BR paper once a day to see if there's any info I need to know and leave it at that. Our friends and neighbors are taking great care of us and I am feeling more positive about the future. Yes, our way of life will change, but it would have anyway with a new baby. I am trying to take it in stride.
